To begin, click on the Plugins link in the left hand sidebar, then click Add New. 2. Search for Jetpack Social. The latest version will be in the search results. Click the Install Now button. 3. Next, click the Activate button. It will not stay connected to my social media accounts. It won’t share. As soon as I check the settings and reconnect everything, by the time I reload the saved draft of my post, it has disconnected again. I’ve tried using 3 different computers, different browsers, clearing caches, and having my host check settings. It will not work. I’ve sent in help tickets with them and nothing. A dimension not only of blog posts but of social sharing. Initially convenient and cool but somewhat limited, Jetpack Social Sharing has recently reached late adolescence. It lets you create the accompanying social posts from inside the WordPress blog post you’re writing (instead of manually in each social channel or via a paid service like Buffer) and has added customization per channel to its new abilities. I even tried to anchor a new Instagram business account to a Facebook page, so the plugin would pick it up, and the Instagram Android app just errored out. The plugin is pretty solid.
